More about : change your life, life coach, transformation

UKfamily celebrity life coach Suzy Greaves explains how easy, practical steps can make your life a whole lot better.

1

Be brave! Take a leap rather than a baby step today and do something that is a stretch for you, something scary that has you dangling way out of your comfort zone - from asking a stranger on a date to asking your boss for a raise. The more we get used to stepping out of our comfort zones, the easier reaching our goals will be.

2

Do the goddess test. Go through your wardrobe today, try all your clothes on and if they don't make you feel like a goddess, bin them. Then hit the shops and buy an outfit that makes you feel like a goddess. Imagine how much easier it will feel to reach your goals if you feel like a goddess every time you leave the house.

3

Create a 'feel-good folder'. This is where you start to collate the best hotels and restaurants you've been to or seen reviewed - so you can access feel-good activities/breaks/holidays at the touch of a button.

4

Create a reserve. Many of us spend our lives constantly running out of petrol, toilet rolls, energy, resources you name it and this can be incredibly stressful. Start to create a reserve now which means that you always have 'more than enough' of what you need. For example, always fill up the car when it's half full rather letting it go to empty, start building a resource of builders/plumbers/solicitors so you always know a good expert to turn to when you have an emergency.

5

Get your money sorted out. Debt or anxiety about money can spiral you into further anxiety and debt. Book a meeting with a financial advisor/accountant/debt manager. Also start thinking creatively. If you need to save £100 a week/earn an extra £100 a week ? how could you do it? Could you work in a bar at the weekend, have a car boot sale, sell unwanted goods on an auction site?

6

Create systems. Spend 60 minutes creating a system to make your life run more smoothly. From putting all your bills on to direct debit to having a special place in your hallway/desk/handbag where your mobile phone and keys always live. An hour a day working 'on' your life rather than 'in' your life can create spectacular results.

7

Prioritise. Ask, what will make the biggest difference to your life right now? Ask, what do you desperately need that you're not getting? Hot water for your evening bath because your boiler's broken? Extra childcare so you can spend some time with your partner? A day in bed sleeping? What would be on your top five wish list? Now take action in the next 60 minutes that will make these wishes a reality. Log on and book appointments with your local day care nurseries, find a plumber or babysitter, talk to your boss and book time out at work. All change takes place in the present so make a decision and commit to getting what you need right now.
