Disposable changing mat - they go on top of any pre-supplied ones at weigh in or changing rooms and also you can then change baby absolutely anywhere - and just throw away afterwards

Bag for carting babys stuff about in
A sling, for when baby just wont settle unless held by you.
A cd of soft relaxing music for you and baby to doze off toooooo.....

Lots of cheap babygros, to cut down on washing in the early days when all either of you want to do is sleep and eat.
An extra vase or two for all the flowers people invariably send you - we ended up having to put flowers into buckets as we ran out of vases!

Some of those baby rattles that attatch to wrists and ankles. Great for providing distraction, improving coordination as well as being fascina... what's THAT? A foot! Wow!!! Munchmunchmunch
