A little about me and my family:
Hi, I'm Sara, I'm 35 and live in lovely Bedfordshire with my family; my husband Jason, our daughter who's 6, 2 silly black cats, Zinzan and Colonel, and one extremely large and opinionated horse, called Brooklyn. I currently work full-time (VERY full-time, sadly), but am quitting my job soon to write on a freelance basis, and to become a full-time mum, which I am really looking forward to.
My best piece of parenting advice:
DOn't obsess. Babies don't evaporate if you dress them in the wrong outfit, or use the wrong bedding, or don't introduce solid food at the right time, or anything else. Use your common sense and trust your instincts - they will be right more often than not.
My funniest pregnancy or parenting moment:
My daughter is VERY interested in science, and we bought her a book all about the human body. One morning she woke me up at 6.30am (an hour when i am normally only just coming to terms with being human myself..) demanding to know the function of the small intestine...!
